A pleasant and unexpected surprise of (finally!) purchasing a hi-def TV is
the MTV channel, MHDTV.   It is seemingly a music-only hybrid of MTV, VH-1
and CMT without the Real World and Flava Flav programming that has diluted
beyond recognition the original concept.  It also reminds me of the AM
programming of my youth, when rock, pop and country all shared the same Top
30 charts.  And that's ok by me.

 

I wonder how long it will last before greed preempts programming?
