There are some bits of Yes I still like. A couple of things on Fragile
are as good as the Bruford/Wetton version of King Crimson. Nick Lowe
told me he loved Yes when they first came around. I still think Ballad
of a Has Been Beauty Queen on the first Brinsley's lp is a Yes inspired
tune. For Yes it was a fine balance between tunes, keeping the singing
in check, and showing off.
