In the past 5 or so years, I've been picking up CDs of artists I liked
back in the day. Back in the 70s/80s, I had Cheap Trick's Budokhan LP
on vinyl, and a mix tape of some of their early stuff; but that was it.
Last year, I picked up their first three on CD, and recently I aquired
both Budokhan CDs and Dream Police.

I think Dream Police is a pretty good album, and wow, the title song is
absolutely killer! I remember liking it when it was on the radio, but
kinda forgot about it for the past few decades. What a track! CT
really knew how to write and record an exciting power pop song... And
there's a lot of other good stuff on the rest of the record, as most of
you probably know!

Zander has such a great voice. I'd put him up with Carmen in the "power
pop vocal hall of fame" in my mind. Which got me thinking, we on this
list often tout our favorite bands, albums, and songs - but what about
the vocalists and musicians? Who do you all think are the top ten power
pop vocalists of all time, from a "chops" standpoint? (raw ability,
sound, tone, emotive, performance, etc.)
