There was a time a lot of bands like this were awfully popular Back in 
the 70's we  moved a lot of this product. Eventually most of these bands 
ran out of ideas, or worse got too many fancy ideas. I admit to going to 
see Tony Williams LIfetime, the version with Allan Holdsworth. But, 
Williams was an amazing drummer. That was a real eye opener. Last year 
we saw Jack DeJohnette and Bill Fizell here in town. Same thing, amazing 
drummer. He did some sneaky show off things, like doing a complex roll 
with one hand. More than a few of the local jazz community got up and 
left, because he was not playing "classic jazz". Lame...

 I think you are better off listening to Miles Davis Jack Johnson or 
something like that. But don't let me stop you from going if you think 
it's important. Just let us know.
