This might be of interest to fans of the Nines. The latest from their mail list:
Greetings ,
I wanted to thank you...and you know who you are... for the great response we have had to Gran Jukle's Field Nines' last album. Thanks to y'all who bought the album, as well as our other albums. I'm writing (and have written a batch of tunes for the next project) which I hope to have out in some form this year. My goal is to put a track up every month or so on one of the myspace pages (demos/ideas etc) so keep checking in to myspace.com/ninespop and the reverbnation site
Nines head to Nashville: I'm looking forward to heading down to Nashville this summer to play a small show with friends Bleu (LEO, The Major Labels) and Miles Nielsen. The show will be for the Grand Opening of the new Waterstone Guitars store in Nashville and will coincide with NAMM. The show will be on June 21st at the Grand opening in Nashville.
Waterstone Compilation album: The Nines’ "Insanity (the sanest thing you’ve got)" from, "Gran Jukle’s Field", will be featured on a compilation of artists endorsed by Waterstone Guitars. The Proceeds benefit the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. The compilation also includes other Waterstone endorsed artists, Cheap Trick, Bleu, Mike Viola (SelF, LEO, the Major Labels), Pat Dinizio (the Smithereens), Miles Nielsen and others. This is a limited edition release and it’s for a great cause- get it before it is gone!http://www.sam-evendor.com/

NInes/ Facebook: I am sad to say that I am extremely slow to catch the wave of cyber sites but Wayne Graves has set up a great little Nines fan site which has probably more info, photos and all things nines etc than any of the so called "official" Nines websites combined. Be a Friend and meet other friends of 9s at http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Nines/11428333927
Keyboard Magazine, Magnet reviews: Keyboard Magazine featured a great review of the Nines in their latest issue, calling "Gran Jukle's Field "one of the best albums of the year". For the complete article check out the April edition of Keyboard Magazine on shelves now...Recently Magnet Magazine also reviewed Gran Jukle's Field calling "Dance Just for me" with co-writer Bleu "the most heartbreakingly sincere lust letter to a stripper ever written"..... Real real Klassy...Check out Magnet Magazine's review at www.magnetmagazine.com in the staff infection site.
Happy summer and aloha
