If you like the Mary Onettes, you should enjoy the Honeydrips. I have posted about them before, but now I bought the cd and can really stand behind it. Also from Sweden, it is just one guy ,and he steals from that same era. The group name is from an Echo song title [or solo Ian]. they do a song called "Lack of love will tear us apart", they end a song with a riff from "Ceremony". But somehow it all works. It is a wonderful pop album.
Check it out. Read his " sounds like" for a laugh. Plus the song "Ah Korolin" is non lp and an old French song.
It wasn't cheap, but a great purchase. Love it!
