Are you in a smaller town? I have vague recollections of reading that BB's in
smaller towns tend to go a little deeper as far as selection, making up for a
lack of record stores in those towns. I have also read (this could have been
years ago) that places like BB and Circuit City check out the Soundscan data
of local indie stores and use that info to stock their stores. I wonder if
Soundscan matters now that the Internet fills the music needs of so many.
