I recall a great article on NA in Mojo magazine, appropriately titled 'Just Out Of Shot'.

While proud of his Beatle association, he had a very clear head about it. He stated that he was always aware that the fame he recieved was reflected from them, that he had done nothing to create it.

He always sounded like the right man for the job.
