I also bowed out of Lala when it started shifting towards direct trading and
audio streaming. I was very disappointed by the fact I was sending out discs
in very good condition (I take care of my collection, even the ones I don't
care for), and receiving crap in return. A lot of discs were destroyed in
the mail (one came in about 20 pieces), but most of the bad discs I received
were damaged by misuse and wear and tear (a few had scratches on the label
side through which you could see light, and many more were simply scuffed
beyond repair).
