I dunno if they've been mentioned here, but I'm digging the song linked below by The Duke Spirit, a U.K. band fronted by a gal singer.  She's not Audities-style pop, and nothing at all like Duffy or Nicole Atkins, but some may dig 'em...  I don't know who to compare them to, but they rock out pretty good, and have some droney / hypnotic moments.  I first heard 'em tonight on XM's U-Pop channel, live from Abbey Road.  Check it out.
