I think Todd's lost some frequencies over the years, his mixes got
increasingly brittle in the high end, like on Next Position Please or even
Skylarking by XTC. Some of the Pursuit of Happiness stuff is also brittle
sounding, the songs, arrangements and performances are all great, on
everything TR does , but his mixes are shrill sounding to my ears, and
jarring when they pop up in a blind iPod shuffle test.
