I'm in the "he's alright" camp. I'm not overly enamored with him.
He's written some great stuff, no doubt. But much of it falls into the "Me'h" category.
I actually prefer many of the live versions of his classic tunes on the album 'Back To The Bars'. Has this been released on CD?
The tunes have a bit more crunch. He's even got Utopia with him on a bunch of tracks.
