I'm at home watching the Blackhawks against the Anaheim Ducks, and right after the second period, they went to the shoot the puck contest. And it was a rock and roll contest.
Rick Nielsen and Ministry's Al Jourgenson were the shooters. Neither did very well. But Rick looked cool in his Rockford AHL uni (number -0, with the name "Cheptrikskvy") and Jourgenson had a Hawk jersey with number 69.
Both were interviewed and talked about being long time Chicago sports fans. Jourgenson reeled off the names of some '70s Hawks. An unexpected moment.
