I'm pretty sure this was never released on cd. I bought it new off the
shelf when it was released in 1979 or 1980 (can't remember which) and it has
been one of my favorite albums for almost three decades now. I've watched
and looked and searched and hunted for it on cd, but have never found it.
As an aside, from time to time, I've hunted for current info on Mr. Werner
and have had no luck on anything about him after this album was released.
He did do a couple of glam albums on RCA in the mid-70's which are really
good (the first - Whizz Kid - is the better of the two - Imagination Quota
is the other). They are pretty available on vinyl in dollar bins, but I've
never seen them on cd either.
There are a few vinyl rips into mp3s floating around of Werner's s/t album.
They are a bit flat, but still bring back the magic. Actually, I'm pretty
sure the recording itself is a bit flat, but I love every track on it,
something I can't say except for a handful of albums.
