We've started a new weekly feature over at Scholars & Rogues that might
be of interest to some. We're calling it TunesDay, and each week we'll
have some kind of hopefully significant music-related feature - maybe
something longer, maybe a band of the week, maybe a review, whatever.
Today's maiden voyage looks at bands that had major influence despite
not being all that popular in their own right - we touch on VU and Big
Star briefly, and the centerpiece is Joy Division and all the current
bands that follow them (Killers, Interpol, etc.)
Not strictly power pop, but maybe some here will like it anyway.
