You're right, Drew, Huffington Post and Daily Kos have definitely gone
off the rails lately. I have to second Michael's recommendation of
Talking Points Memo. Josh Marshall is fair and reasonable. I also like
MYDD and The Left Coaster.

Speaking of politics (I promise this will be as non-political as I can
be), I met Bill Clinton the other day. He was speaking at a rally here
in Norfolk. I gave him a DVD of our anti-Bush song/video, "The Emperor
Strikes Out." The cover of the DVD has a clip from the video, a picture
of me as Bush, wrapped in the flag. Anyway...he took a look at the
cover, and said (in that inimitable Clinton Arkansas drawl) "I LOVE
this!" Wish I had THAT on video!

Well, at least I thought it was cool!

By the way, Michael, just wanted to chime in with a big thanks for all
these years of running the list. I think I joined back in September of
'96, madre mia. Here's to drinking shots out of a bottle cap with
Michael, his lovely wife Cristy and PP Protone! We are the Orchid
Suites Preservation Society!

See you all over at the new place. Going "Underground" indeed.

Seth

PS--I hear that #139 in Borack's book is a "must buy!" ;)
