I may be alone but I would give it a thumbs down. That said, it's
probably worth your (and any Mat's fans) time per some interesting
stories and quotes. But overall to me, it's kind of a mess. It reads
like someone who grabbed quotes from various people regarding the
Replacements and other matters and tossed them into a book (somewhat
haphazardly). Some of it just didn't register at all for me.
I'll admit that maybe my general dislike of Jim Walsh's style of
writing in the "City Pages" impacts my opinion a bit...
But again, it's probably worth a skim.
