As I remember, Michael was going to shut down the Audities list today. I
thought I'd drop a note and say goodbye to everyone, as I probably won't be
signing up for the new list any time soon.
The last nine-ish years have been quite a ride, musically. I've discovered a
lot of great music through this group. And many of you were supporters of my
short-lived Baypop music festival in the San Francisco Bay Area, which was
much appreciated.
It's funny how time eventually teaches you that nothing lasts forever. When I
signed up for Audities, I had just thrown myself headlong into a new period
of musical discovery. And it lasted a long time. But now I can feel it waning
inside me, and although it's sort of sad, it's also somehow just part of the
next chapter, I suppose.
I hope everyone continues to live their dreams and follow their passions.
