---I'll give it a thumbs up. Reading it made me want
to go listen to my Replacements records (and spend way
too much time on YouTube watching old live footage),
which never is a bad thing. Some of the stories
really help you get a true sense of the band (and how
little you'd have ever wanted to hang out with them).
Oral histories often have that spotty feeling, and
this is in no way a complete story of the band, but
overall, I thought it was a good, fun read, with
plenty of tales I hadn't heard before. I'm also
excited to see that the reissues will include a number
of tracks mentioned in the book that I'd never heard.
The biggest annoyance to me was Jim Walsh feeling the
need to place himself and his family members in the
book, but it's not that important of an issue.
