I've been on this list since close to the beginning and would hate to see these great discussions just go away or see our long-time group just die. Like many on the list, my posting comes and goes, but I always enjoy reading and keeping up with the latest. With the current status of this mailing list in question right now, I have an offer to make to the Audities community.
I have a music-based message board that I set up last summer. I pay for it every month and had hopes that it would attract participants interested in the same stuff that I'm interested in. So far, it hasn't gotten a lot of action which makes it a great place for us to move in to.
I'd like to invite all you power pop refugees to join my board. I'm open to suggestions and willing to make adjustments to the board (and its name) if needed so we can make it a great place to continue these pop music discussions. I know some here are only interested in a mailing list, but for those of you willing to give it a try, I think our community can have a lot of fun on the forum. The board software gives a pretty good amount of flexibility and I've got it currently set to allow for a lot of fun and creativity. I think it is a place we can make as fun a place as we want it to be and help keep the Auditeers together.
You can get to the board by going to bandsontv.com. My name on the board is MrScribbs. There are only about 10 current members, but no regular posters. So, check it out and see what you think.
