I HAVE bumped into Lou Reed. Twice. In my day-to-day life. And although neither encounter was at the pharmacy, one WAS in front of a florist's shop....
It may not be much of anecdote, but both were nearly 19 years back, and I'm still telling everyone!
I can't decide if that qualifies for "very interesting life," or a "very sad one." I mean, it was years ago. Then again, it was LOU freaking REED!

And I'd damn sure have to run out and tell everyone about it soon
thereafter! I think a U.S. equivalent might be something like "I bumped
into Lou Reed at the pharmacy today".
