I downloaded "The Silence Between Us" from iTunes a couple of weeks ago,
after I read the interview with Mould in the new issue of Spin.
Jeff's right -- sonically, this one has a lot in common with "Body of Song,"
Mould's last solo record. You can hear some of the elements of dance
music -- the melodicism, for instance -- that have been creeping into
Mould's tunes since he's been DJ'ing at the 9:30 Club in D.C.

I'll be downloading the full record tonight.

Wow....
Nada Surf *and* Mould on the same release date.

Bob's new one "District Line" trods similar turf as Body of Song
and previous solo efforts...although this one sounds even a little
more mainstream......dare I say...with nods to the Emo crowd=! :-O
I can't tell for sure, but I think it's a grower.

Jeff
