I'd love to read more examples of your disappointments...so I can rip you a new one!  But seriously, what other ones haven't floated your boat?  

I'll admit, I'm surprised to see you cite The Beat -- I think that's one of the best skinny tie pop records ever.  Collins had a bunch of great songs at his disposal and the band plays them with punch and panache.
