I just got a hold of the Bad Detectives' first CD, "Get HIP, Let Rip", from
2005 and though not power pop, it sounds like something that would appeal
toquite a number of people here. They remind me a bit of an English version
of the Morells, combining rock n roll, beat, some surf, some country and
some r&b, with a sense of humor that is not heavy handed and doesn't get in
the way of the songs.
They have a 2007 CD which I have not heard and have a myspace page as
