That's awesome that you're going. I wish I was. Let's hope we get a live album or DVD from this.
I just got back from London on Saturday and as far as cheap hotels go your best bet is to use hotwire. The downside is they don't tell you much about the hotel until after you pay so you really have to look at a map to determine which area you want to stay in but I use it all the time.
Let's hope the exchange rate improves too!
