Ok ,I've read all these messages and I have to say.Helen Love is a new name to me[sorry].And I adore the coolness of the Pooh Sticks. So if I were to grab one to start with ,what would you suggest? I see there is a new one,and a few called Radio Hits[is that a play on words-or does she have hits somewhere?]

The Pooh Sticks are to this day still one of my top five bands of all time, and each and every album through Million Seller were truly amazing, even Optimistic Fool has its moments. At their best the Pooh Sticks wrote and performed perfect slices of pop. On the other hand Helen Love, what can I say...THEY WROTE A SONG ABOUT ME!!! How fucking cool is that! They mostly wrote pastiches, almost tributes to prior songs but hell they are incredible and the first two Radio Hits albums are essential. If you've seen the new Payless commercial you will hear Helen Love's Does Your Hear Go Boom. Which is better, well The Pooh Sticks singles box set was my holy grail of records to find for a dozen years but then again did I mention that Helen Love WROTE A SONG ABOUT ME!!!!
