Agree on both points. My favorite Sirius station is the Underground
Garage, so there ya go.

That's as compelling an argument as I've heard. I liked it even before AMG clinched it, for what that's worth.
I'm also casting my two cents for a new Google group rather than rebranding the existing SMOE listserv. And brava to Sarah for stepping up!

I'm with "Pop Underground". If you look on AMG under their top
"Pop Underground" artists, this is the list they come up with:
Jason Falkner
Fountains of Wayne
Jellyfish
The New Pornographers
The Posies
Redd Kross
Sloan
Sneetches
Matthew Sweet
Teenage Fanclub
Velvet Crush
Zumpano
Brendan Benson
Cotton Mather
Ben Folds
Gigolo Aunts
Loud Family
Aimee Mann
Material Issue
Michael Penn
Seems a pretty reasonable list as a basis for a discussion group!!
Mike.

I'm kind of partial to PopRocks as we could be known as Poprockers.
That being said, Pop Underground is fine, too. It could still
be referred
to as "the pop list"
