I gave my brother an 'off-site backup' of every song I own on a big
hard drive ... it's not pirating 'cuz it's family and I am holding his
record collection hostage. Anyways ... my niece is linked to me on
the Facebook (she's in high school) - and I am happy to take credit
for the following in her favorite bands list. I think she might be
the only DM3 fan at her school.
The Donnas, The Riff Randells, DM3, The Cure, The Clash, The Monks,
The Sex Pistols, Siouxsie Sioux, Cyndi Lauper, Banana Erectors,
Supergrass, Pat Benatar, Shonen Knife, Ben Folds, The Beatles, The
Runaways, X-Ray Spex, Oasis, The Rolling Stones, Ramones.
She has a nicer guitar and amp than me too. (not to mention being able
to play it)
This may seem like a frivolous post - but since I have no kids of my
own, and my nephews are all hockey and video games - she was my only
hope for a tiny bit of legacy.
