As a frequent lurker who has come to depend on Auditees as his modern
version of 70's am radio, I'd just like to say I'm on the Sarah Google
bandwagon like a rat on a Cheeto. Go for it.
I also have to say when I'm annoyed with certain threads, I simply
skip 'em and when I'm amused with certain threads, I chuckle right on
through them. That said, a new start isn't a bad thing, and like
Splitsville Rob, I'm not too keen on the whole banning and censorship
thing. "Crazy Uncle Bob" frequently amuses me. Mike Bennett engaged
him pretty well, dontcha think? And Drew's post about "crashing the
family car" almost made up for the whole dirty bomb thing in my book.
It isn't like none of us have ever experienced a rant or seen someone
take oneself a bit too seriously before...
That said some basic ground rules on decorum and some nudging by
moderators to take things off list once in a while need not be a
particularly oppressive form of cat herding. I think we can find a
sweet spot here and the shake up might be what some of us lurkers need
to chime in on the music finds a bit more often.
