I think I'm in the old timers club too. I agree, that was the golden
era for the power pop music scene and the list in some ways. But, I
agree things keep moving and changing. For some this list is dead and
I respect that. I hope to see it continue and evolve.
Yeah, sometimes the discussions have been very away from Badfinger
type music but very engrossing and helpful even. A lot of great music
minds here. Some who don't chime in nearly enough for my selfish
needs.
I remember long ago bringing up a question related to classic songs
for my in-laws anniversary. I was making a tape and looking for the
standard versions of "their songs". Many contributed and gave me
opinions on what standard to go with, including cranky Uncle Bob.
