First..i didn't think the post about the "female rufus w" was mean..in fact, it was useful since it told me a lot about what nicole is about...plus..the person was just stating an opinion..if stops there then that is great..but if the two people go back and forth about their opinions then that is bad..
lets face it..most or many people here consider themselves "pop" or "music" experts and, therefore, are completely unhinged when someone questions their taste or their judgement about music. I have done it and felt really goofy about it since I realized that it is worthless to argue about someone's taste in music. Most of you have not taken my previous posts too seriously..which is good..because they weren't meant to be taken seriously..but..we should allow comments like "she is the female version of rufus w"..or "how much does tori amos pay in royalties to Kate Bush for licensing her act"..these are useful..not kidding..they tell me a lot about what to expect about an artist..I may eventually not agree but it has information..those two comments are as informative to me as "they sound like cheap trick"..
I have no idea if I will be invited to join a new group or not..I guess whatever "committee" is put together will decide my fate..I can live with that..however, for the sake of the group or list..please allow people to state what they feel about music..or else it just becomes a list of "everything is great" and that would be very boring
How about calling the list..."calling sarah"?
Michael C...thanks for the list..you know I never meant any harm..and I don't really hate Stewart or anyone on this list...
will see what the committee determines regarding my fate..
