Hey, is anyone else psyched about the impending (March) release of
the new Pugwash album? I've sampled some songs on the myspace page
and it sounds awesome. Also, you can check out a video for a recently
recorded b-side cover of Idle Race (Jeff Lynne) tune...very cool.

Other items, has anyone else heard the new Joe Jackson? What do
y'all think. I'm diggin' it, seems like a return to form with some
fantastic piano playing, melodies, and lyrics by Joe, as well as the
usual outstanding rhythm section by Graham Maby and Dave Houghton.
My favorite track currently, is "Rush Across the Road."
Speaking of piano-based pop music, you need to check out the debut
full-length by Frank Ciampi, "Big Top Woman"...its spending a lot of
time in my Car CD-changer right now.
I know it seems like I'm posting more often now that the list is
about to cease to exist. But, I guess I want to prove that there is
still great music out there being made that warrants further
discussion.
later, Matt
