I've not yet seen the movie. I heard the song for the first time when
Hansard and Irglova were guests on Jim DeRo's and Greg Kot's "Sound
Opinions" show on Chicago Public Radio a few weeks ago. It's the
first song I've heard in ages that actually made me sit back in my
chair and take notice. Marketa Irglova has a really lovely voice. Be
nice to see them get the Oscar gong, though there's probably no
stopping the Disney/Industrial complex.
