Michael, great job keeping things going all these years - thanks!
I'm in, whatever form the replacement entity takes.
One thing about YahooGroups - I've run a fairly large list over there
for the last ten years, and the ability to moderate as closely or not
as you want has improved vastly. I put very little work into
moderation and my list is completely spam-free (and troll-free, so
far). Were I starting the group today I wouldn't necessarily go with
Yahoo (actually, I didn't then either - I think it was the third
corporate buyer of whoever I originally chose), so I'm not
recommending it for the new list, but should you see something that
looks interesting and happens to be a YahooGroup, check it out - it
might run as smoothly as anything else you're likely to encounter.
And in the spirit of talking about great pop music, you know who's
made some lately? Liam Finn. His new CD "I'll Be Lightning" is quite
impressive.
