I'm someone who listened to, bought and still loves - in real time...up
to around 1984 - much of the music this group also loves, and then
jumped into a new career where I drifted away from keeping on top of
things. Over the last decade or so, I've gotten back into new power pop,
and finally found my way to this list last summer. It's an amazing
resource, especially at the end of the year. In the internet world,
I've learned how to tie my shoes, but no way could I volunteer to help
with a new list, but will be there if one gets started.

Jennifer, thanks for your post about The Scooters...another group I
missed.

Adelsheim

It's not just the title but the some of the lyrics seem appropriate as
well.

This Is How It Ends - The Scooters

so this is how it ends /man against machine/ it's the finest fistfight
the world has ever seen
you should have stayed at home /but your loyalty is torn living after
midnight rocking til the dawn/
sitting at your throne looking mighty brave/ if you leave me alone I'll
jump into your grave/
times have changed/ just around the bend /this is how it ends

As for continuing Audities in some fashion, what about a message board
format ?

Cheers,

Jennifer
