First, I feel Michael's frustration, and having run some thankless lists
of my own in the past all I can do is say thanks for all you've done.
Now, a number of people here are going to want to carry on, and I'm one
of them. Audities has been a great source of new music finds for me over
the past few years and I'd hate to see that die.
So, I'm volunteering to set up and own a new list. Probably do it at
Google Groups. That's not a perfect venue, but it's comparatively
low-maintenance and easy to use. It'll certainly be a simple task
compared to some of the things I'm trying to cat-herd these days.
If you'd like me to set this up, let me know. If you want me to piss
off, I'll go away.

/"...it's a lonesome thing to be passing small towns with the lights
shining sideways when the night is down, or going in strange places with
a dog nosing before you and a dog nosing behind, or drawn to the cities
where you'd hear a voice kissing and talking deep love in every shadow
of the ditch, and you passing on with an empty, hungry stomach failing
from your heart." /
