A lot of songs that bring a tear to my eye are older stuff - Scarlet
Ribbons, Streets of Laredo, Baby Mine (from Dumbo!). The Edward
Scissorhands soundtrackm towards the end of the moviem really tugs the
heartstrings too. On the pop frontier, It's Only Love resonates strongly
- I played it and cried the day I heard John Lennon was murdered. Imagine
my disappointment years later, when I heard Lennon viewed the song as a
throwaway album filler.
PS Has Segarini sobered up yet?
