The funny thing for me is late in the first half, there's something I
haven't thought of in years that always really puzzled me when I was
watching MTV back in the day: about once an hour, there would be a
longish segment of stock footage set to library music, with an MTV
logo in the corner. Of course, seeing it now, I immediately
recognized that it must have been a break for cable companies to
insert two minutes' worth of local commercials, but I could never
figure those out back then!
