Catching up with Rich's mention of "So Young" as covered by Elvis C.,
does anybody remember Jo Jo Zep's original on it? I wish I loved more
by them, but - really - a signature song!

For Elvis Costello I always thought "So Young" was the greatest
of the lesser known tracks.
On a related thought: What about tracks that might not be the most
accessible to every non-fan, but might work as a litmus test that
says "If you get this track, then this artist would be worthwhile
for you to check out in depth."
An example I'd give is Graham Parker's "Lunatic Fringe" off of
Steady Nerves.
