Without Audities or Not Lame/Kool Kat/Jam etc. - I never would have of
heard of most of the indie stuff on your list, but since being part
of the group - anything that came out from that time forward was
relatively easy to get - once you know where to look.
Of course - JB was plugged in much much earlier than me (and most
others here) with regard to the lesser known bands - and the stuff he
has on his list that I've never heard of would have been pretty hard
for me to get or even be aware of at the time it was current.
So I think your list is more Audities friendly that John's - just
because it reflects Audities Power Pop better as a demographic.
Either way - with both lists containing sooo many albums that I love -
I feel the need to hunt down the ones I don't know.
200 is a good number - you get a real good sense if your taste matches
- and can feel confident ordering something blind - more so that with
a top 20.
