OK...I'm not sure why I bothered to take on this task. I guess an obsessive
streak to see if I could match (or better) John's list. Defining "power pop"
in terms of upbeat, melodic, mostly guitar-driven rock w/ lots of hooks,
harmonies, etc, etc made this list a little easier to compile. I think all
these selctions fit that description.
Note... I felt there were a few artists who qualified to be here twice
(Cheap Trick, Jellyfish, Matthew Sweet, Teenage Fanclub, etc)
