Yup. Their toughest sounding record. I discard that last track with the
strings because it messes with the groove established by the first ten.
Plus it's a portent of what I deem to be backsliding to an "Oh, look!
Girls!" approach, than which I thought they were better. (Similarly, I
liked the toughened up "Talk Show" the best of all the GoGos' 1980s
product.) I always thought the vibe thrown off by this record, however
melodic it is, was very Nuggetsy. Larry, he likey.
