Stewart offered: I can be convinced to set up a spreadsheet for a project
like that,
but I swear to god, the SECOND it devolves into another "What IS power
pop?" thread, I'm shutting it down.
Twenty albums, ranked. Commentary welcome but not necessary. As for
whether it's a semi-objective "most representative" list or a list of
your own personal faves, listen to your heart, but personally I think
the latter is more interesting. Send to the list or privately to me at
craigtorso AT verizon dot com. Deadline, let's say 1/31.

I think I'm gonna do this. Thanks for giving us until the end of the month,
Stewart.
And I agree that our "personal faves" will make more interesting reading
than what we think is "most genre-representative." If we did the latter, I
think the final tally would be too predictable.
