I'd also note that Receiver front man Ken West is a pretty self-deprecating guy, and while he might not embrace Bob's criticism, I don't think he'd shed tears over it.  For me, I don't think that Receiver is a Top 200 pick, but I thought that Ken's vocals and songwriting got better over time, and the last couple of Receiver tracks I heard (one was on the bubblegum comp and I think another was on an IPO comp) were their strongest.
