I've given this some thought over the weekend, but as sensibly suggested by Stewart, I haven't dwelt too long on the decision as I also think that's the best way to arrive at the decision. I'm sure the list would change each time I looked at it, but this is a very good representation, not only taking into account how good a pop album it is, but also just how much I still listen to it, and even how much it led to me finding other music.

1. Big Star - #1 Record / Radio City

2. Cheap Trick - In Color

3. The Stone Roses - S/T

4. Jellyfish - Bellybutton

5. Jason Falkner - Can You Still Feel?

6. World Party - Goodbye Jumbo

7. Mark Johnson - 12 In A Room

8. The New Pornographers - Twin Cinema

9. The Someloves - Don't Talk About Us

10. The Pernice Brothers - Discover A Lovelier You

11. The Connells - One Simple Word

12. Orange Humble Band - Assorted Creams

13. Sloan - Navy Blues

14. Splitsville - Repeater

15. REM - Document

16. The Nines - Properties of Sound

17. Adam Daniel - Blue Pop

18. Weird Summer - Incarnata Mysterica

19. Semisonic - Feeling Strangely Fine

20. The Grays - Ro Sham Bo

FWIW - I don't really like The Raspberries either. Sorry pop pickers.
