It will be great to see this Top 20, but whenever someone proposes compiling an "all time" type list like this, that could have votes for hundreds of different albums (many getting a single vote), I always have the same thought... Why not start with a nomination round? This would involve people sending in a list of albums (e.g., their preliminary Top 20, or perhaps more) to a single collection person. Then, that person would share the entire list with us (it could be huge), so we could use it as a reference while creating our personal Top 20's.
Maybe it's an unnecessary step, but I just know that if I put together a list of my own, primarily off the top of my head, I'll see other lists and kick myself for leaving off an album that I somehow overlooked.
