Okay, I realize it's not power pop, but I've been doing some exploring
online lately and discovering a bunch of '70s and '80s artists who generally
fall under the AOR label that have some damned fine hooks in their
repertoire. In fact, I blew a fair amount of my stock of January eMusic
credits picking up a few of them. Since ya'll tend to have discerning
tastes for the most part, I'm sure I'm setting myself up to hear some of
these artists get ripped a new one, but here's what I picked up, and I was
wondering if anyone had any thoughts about some others I was considering
picking up either via eMusic or iTunes.

Picked up:

The Sherbs, "Defying Gravity"

Keats, "Keats"

Charlie, "Good Morning America"

Tycoon, "Turn Out The Lights"

707, "Magic"

Considering:

Prism, "Best of Prism"

Spys, "Behind Enemy Lines"

Night, "Long Distance"

Chris Thompson, "If You Remember Me"

Point Blank, "American Excess / On A Roll"

Best,

WiLL
