We've been lucky enough to play 2 of the 3 IPOs that David Bash threw in
Philadelphia, and I, for one, have always been grateful for his tireless
promotion of Pop music.
What he's doing must take a truly psychotic amount of work. And I have to
imagine that whatever remuneration he receives (if, indeed, there's any at
all) is far outweighed by the energy and commitment he puts into it, not to
mention his out-of-pocket costs.
And as an aside: the other night, my 2-year-old daughter walked up to me and
announced (pretty much appropo of nothing), "Daddy, you're in a time-out!"
I'm starting to feel like this list maybe needs one, too.

np: Kate Nash, "Made of Bricks." I will promote this young woman to the
stars. It's most refreshing record I've heard in ages.
