I'm with Bryan on this one.  It's just disappointing to see blatant 
homophobia regularly get written off as "oh, that Gabe, wotta kidder." 
Now, maybe it's some big in-joke and Gabe himself is actually gayer 
than Rufus Wainwright singing Judy Garland, but even if that's the 
case, if you don't actually *know* Gabe, that doesn't come across.

Gabe has every right to be as obnoxious as he wants, of course.  But 
that also means that anybody who finds Gabe's needling offensive gets 
to speak up as well.
