I can't say enough good stuff about the Lily Allen record. It's my Top 10
releases for 2007.
And, it's pretty much as Stewart described it: funny, bratty and sunny as
all get out. She's a genuine pop talent, and it's just the sort of thing to
warm up a chilly winter afternoon.
While you're at it, check out Kate Nash, who's also of the "London School,"
of pop songwriting, and is kind of a Lily Allen protege. Her record "Made of
Bricks," was one of the great discoveries of the year for me.
